Small Bathroom Layout
This was a bathroom that had a corner spa bath with a shower over it (quite impractical on a daily basis), a corner vanity unit, and the toilet in an inconvenient place. Luckily there is a roof cavity (over the lower floor) under the window and was easy for the toilet to be shifted 1100mm to the left.
Small Bathroom Layout Plan
This client has now got a spacious simple bathroom. There is a walk-in Dreamline shower acrylic tray (easy cleaning) with a Dreamline frameless sliding shower door, a wall hung vanity, a wall cabinet and toilet. To keep the overall cost within budget we used vinyl on the floor and wooden skirting.
Small Bathroom Layout Birdseye View
The birds eye view gives you a perspective of the layout as it will be. This gives a better view showing the wall cabinet, the vanity, shower and toilet.
Small Bathroom Layout A Elevation
The west wall (elevation A). Showing the easy access to the storage units. Note the timber drawers and tower fronts, we used these as the rest of the house has visible wood that is similar. Note also the mirrored cabinet & light above. This was added to give more storage of smaller items, inside the cabinet we’ve supplied a power point so they can charge tooth brushes or shavers.
Small Bathroom Layout B Elevation
In this view we see the shower head and shower slide (the mixer is on the L/H wall). We are using this shower configuration more often, as some people want an all over shower and others do not want to wash their hair every day.
Small Bathroom Layout C Elevation
As the client did not want a heated towel rail we’ve installed 2 separate Towel Rails on this wall. This view also shows how the lighting shadows helps to show the shape of the room.
General 3D Views of the Small Bathroom Layout
Here we have removed the outside wall as it does help with the perspective of the room.
The next 2 views show the ceiling above the toilet and vanity is actually lower (and painted the wall colour) than the ceiling over the shower. (again we’ve removed the door and walls to give you a better view from this angle)
